The Social Support Service is a DYA’s initiative which started working the 5th of March of 1999 as an answer to the crescent demand of elderly and disabled people. Those people needed transportation from their house to the recuperation and care centres.

For this, DYA has developed special vehicles, 9 actually, specifically adapted for this needed people, trying to improve the life quality in a growing sector of the society.

Each adapted vehicles for the Social Support Service cost average 38.000 € (the equipment, the insurance, the petrol,...). All is pay by DYA, with contributes of ours shareholders.

Objectives:

Improve the quality of life of many collectives.

Make easier the transportation of sick or disable people from their house to the recuperation and care centres.

Accompany and make easier the labours in relation with the shopping.

Make advocacy and advise the population in general about social affairs with conferences and seminars.

Inform the society about the ageing of the people and the immediate consequences.

Improve and expand our services with the collaboration of the local population.
